g pop sex toy The G Pop

When I was doing my strange sex toy reviews, the G-Pop would have been a good addition.  Not that it is bizarre like the replica Wolf Penis I reviewed, or blasphemous like the Jackhammer Jesus, or even fantastical like the Dragon’s Tongue… But, it definitely is not what I ever expected a G-spot dildo to look like.  In fact, when I first saw it I was sure it was a percussion toy.

So a G-Pop is basically a sex toy with a long steel rod having a plastic handle on one end and a heavy steel ball on the other.  It comes in different sizes: 1.5″, 2″ and 2.38″ diameters and various colors.  The manufacturers, Steel Vineyards, also make them in gemstone varieties as well.  Mine came in Cherry Red with a 2” diameter, which is very large, heavy and hard as hell.  It is a heavy metal dildo that will either rock your G-spot to bliss, or leave you in serious pain.

When I first got my G-Pop it sat on my desk and I used it for percussion to massage my shoulders.  It worked very well bouncing lightly off my shoulder muscles, but you have to be extremely careful not to hit the bone (even lightly) as you could seriously hurt yourself.  My partner didn’t like the feeling of it as a percussion toy, saying it wigged him out.  I think two of these would make ideal percussion toys together on the soft cushions of the butt, playing the flesh like a xylophone.

Percussion play is not the G-Pop’s intended purpose, however.  It is meant to be inserted, like a dildo and rocked or pumped to excite the G-spot.  Well, I thought I could handle a 2” diameter of unyielding steel.  After all, the large end of my NJoy Pure Wand is 1 ½”, so I didn’t think an extra ½” would be anything to worry about.  I’m afraid I was wrong.

I first applied my new G-spot gel, Shunga’s Rain of Love arousal gel to my G-spot.  I then lubed the G-Pop up well and began rubbing it around my vulva and slowly inserting it.  No go. I obviously needed some extra stimulation to get more aroused.  I grabbed my trusty lusty plug-in massager the Fairy Wand and went to work on my clit, while my partner slowly rolled and twisted the G-Pop at the opening of my vagina.  Every time it almost went in, it felt like my pelvic bone was going to crack and my G-Spot burned painfully.  We tried this for a while to no avail.  I couldn’t insert the G-Pop without feeling pain, tensing up and popping it out.  Holy mother-fucker and did it hurt! The worst of it was, I was afraid if I did manage to get it inside, I would never get it out.  I imagined a trip to the emergency room with this thing sticking out of me, and well, it freaked me out.

While I have tried many sex toys in the name of “science” (Ha!), I am not willing to undergo pain or fear for a review.  I read both AAG’s and Essin’ Em’s reviews of the G-Pop, and while they both had to carefully work it in, they both did manage to insert the toy and both found it exquisite once inside.  AAG had the largest one and Essin’ Em the smallest.  So, while the G-Pop didn’t fit me in the 2” size, it would obviously fit other people.  I have a small vagina and I’ve never had kids, so 2” was way too large for me.  I do know that had I got the 1 ½” that it would have fit, because after trying unsuccessfully to insert the G-Pop, I got my NJoy Pure Wand out and the large end slid easily inside me, making me squirt uncontrollably. (My reward to undergoing the G-Pop pain!)

I still think that the G-Pop is a pretty groovy, unique sex toy.  I would still love to try the 1 ½”, and from now on will keep that in mind when getting new toys.

You can get your own G-Pop in various sizes at SexToy.com from “virgin” to “adventurous” to “masochist”!

SASI.BLACK 500 1 SaSi Vibrator

The SaSi vibrator invented by British company Je Joue has been touted as the best thing since sliced bread.  Well, maybe not sliced bread, but it was named the best sex toy of 2009 by Cosmo magazine and 1 of the top 10 toys of 2008 by Fleshbot.  And, while it can’t slice your bread, it is supposed to be the closest thing to cunninglingus next to a real life tongue.  (Yes, even better than the most excessively promoted sex toy this year, the Sqweel [my review]).

So, what’s the hype all about?

To be honest, I have been one of the many sex toy reviewers who have been craving to get their pussy next to a SaSi.  Who wouldn’t want to try a “sexual intelligence” sex toy that claims to mimic oral sex and learns what you like, just like a lover?  But are these claims true?

Yes.  The SaSi does feel as close as a sex toy can get to a good clitty lickin’. Under a soft silicone stretchy surface, a little pleasure nub sticks out to rub and titillate your clit.  Depending on your mode, this nub strokes, circles and flickers, much like a real tongue, while you control the speed and vibration.

Pre-Programmed Mode

The nub has five settings in the pre-programmed mode, which are the most favored among the test users.  You can cycle through the modes by pressing the next button, or go back.  It is a good way to first get introduced to the various motions of the nub, before trying the Custom Mode out.

Custom Mode

In Custom Mode the SaSi tries various movements which you can pass on by pressing the next button, or tell SaSi you like it, by clicking “Don’t Stop”.  Gradually, SaSi remembers your likes and dislikes and eventually changes the Pre-Programmed Mode to your favorites.

SASI.BLACK 500 4 SaSi Vibrator

Getting to Know Your SaSi

Like a lover, the SaSi requires a bit of time to get to know her.  She becomes a better lover over time, once she gets to know what you like, and once you get used to her functions.  She’s much more sophisticated than any wham-bam-thank-you-ma’m vibrator and therefore requires more romance before you get down and bed her.  Give the SaSi time to show you her moves so you can make the most out of what she has to offer.

Design

The SaSi is curved to fit neatly between the labia and hug the clitoris.  It takes a while to position the SaSi perfectly, so the nub moves around and touches the clit in just the right way.  Lube is a must and while it takes a bit of trial and error, you’ll know when you got it in just the right place.  In Custom Mode I recommend going slowly through the modes and trying each one as you move the SaSi around to find the best feel.  If it’s not working for you, move on.  When you do find one you like, hit the “Don’t Stop” but then continue on as SaSi just might surprise you with other tricks up her sleeve.  You will find that the SaSi will perform better the second time you use her than the first, as there is a bit of a learning curve with using her.

Controls

I found the buttons a bit difficult to use at first.  This is because I have long fingernails, and it makes it hard to push the buttons, especially the next button when in use.  After a bit, I was better able to control the buttons with practice using the pads of my fingers.

Power

The SaSi needs to be charged before using.  She comes with several plug adapters for use in the North America, UK, Europe, and Australia.  Just plug her in and her indicator will be red when uncharged which turns to green when fully charged.

The SaSi also vibrates in addition to the nubby motions it makes.  On high, this vibration is pretty good (not mind blowing, but satisfactory and comparable with Lelo’s).  Combined with the nub movements, it is enough to get you over the edge to orgasm.

The SaSi is more of a slow seduction that will allow you to gradually build to orgasm, rather than a Va-voom, rock-your-world kind of sex toy.  People who rely on the Hitachi would hate it.  However, if you are into a slow, seductive evening of self-pleasure, then the SaSi is your gal.

alumina Alumina Revolve Dildo

The Alumina Revolve Dildo is a fantastic idea.  What is it?  Well, it is a double-ended dildo made from aeronautical-grade aluminum that is anodized so it will not corrode or wear.  These cool dildos screw apart in the middle so you can attach either end to another dildo in the same collection to interchange them and make a new toy.  This line comes from Tantus, leaders in silicone sex toy products.  According to them, “Aluminum is the most abundant metal in Earth’s crust, is recyclable and safe… All Tantus products are hand-made… using green manufacturing processes in the USA.”  The complete Alumina line, like their silicone dildos are “non-porous, easy to clean and it is earth friendly.”

Aluminum (like ceramic) is the new glass!  Like glass sex toys, aluminum is hard, so good for G-spotting, and heats up or cools well for temperature play.  The Alumina Revolve is designed for G-spot play with a large bulb on one end and a smaller beaded shaft on the other, measuring 8 inches long and 1.25 inches wide.  Unlike steel sex toys, aluminum is much lighter and ergonomically shaped, so easier on the old wrists if you really want to give it a work-out.

The Revolve feels great against the skin, very cool and thrilling.  The smooth texture glides easily in with very little lubrication, and the bulbous end is perfect for G-spot stimulation.  I found this toy easy to use for that purpose and to pump my G-spot to blissful ejaculations!  Please remember that a sex toy doesn’t have to be inserted far for the G-spot (only 1-2 inches) and that rather that deep thrusting, a pumping/ rubbing action is more effective until it becomes enlarged.  Even then, you don’t want to thrust deeply, passing the G-spot, but into the G-spot.  It seems to be hard for some women to figure this out, but you will know when you are getting it right!

Not only are these dildos practical, but they are very pretty as well.  They come in their own, sleek cardboard storage box and look like fancy Christmas ornaments that you could hang on your tree, all shiny-shiny!  This gives you an excuse to buy the whole set and mix and match.  It is a tradition in our house to give a Christmas ornament each year on top of a present.  So you could make naughty Xmas ornaments out of these to give to your lover(s).  Very cute!

delight Delight G spot Vibrator

In the world of G-spot sex toys, there are ones that stand above the others.  The Delight G-spot Vibrator, by German manufacturer Fun Factory, is one of the ones that really shines.  Like all Fun Factory toys (including my favorite G-spot dildo the Curve), the Delight is a top quality product, made of body-safe materials and features a very innovative design.

Good G-spot sex toys feature the G-spot “curl” on the penetrating end to ensure that the toy will hit your G-spot effectively.  Remember, that the G-spot is only 1”-2” inside of the vagina, so the shaft doesn’t need to be long, but does have to have a curl or bulb on the end.  As you can see by the image, the Delight is designed in an S-shape with the curl (bulb) at one end and a looped handle at the other.  This ergonomically designed handle makes the Delight very easy to control and pump the G-spot once inserted with just your finger or thumb.  The penetrating head of this vibe is coated with soft silicone (so only use water-based lubes with it) and the handle is made from plastic.

Just this basic design alone, would make this toy a fantastic G-spot tool.  But, it also vibrates, adding to the intensity of your pleasure and stimulation.  While some women don’t care for vibration on their G-spot (and I use to be one of these) I have come to learn after much experimentation that my G-spot does respond to specific types of vibration.  The vibrations are especially good when I am warming up my entire vulva and just starting insertion and are controlled by (+) and (-) buttons, so very basic and easy to use.  The shape of the Delight allows for pressure against my G-spot and clitoris simultaneously, when I am working the toy in and out, building my pleasure in both areas to give me a dual clitoral and G-spot orgasm with lots of gushing!  The vibrations are very strong, so this toy works great for clitoral stimulation as well as G-spot, and both feel delicious.

The very best thing about the Delight (aside from giving me amazing orgasms!) is that it is a rechargeable vibrator.  I have found that, on top of being environmentally friendly, that rechargeable vibes are often much more powerful than battery operated ones, much like plug-in massagers.  This is definitely the case with the Delight, which has multiple speeds as well as various pulsation settings that rotate through the various oscillations. What is really cool is you just place your Delight into its hard plastic storage case which then plug-ins and it recharges in a few hours.  The charge lasts for quite a while as well, when not in use, as I charged mine a few days before I reviewed it (used it) and it was still strong.

The Delight G-spot Vibrator is delightful and gave me one of the most pleasurable G-spot and dual orgasms I have ever experienced, so now is my #1 favorite G-spot toy, which I intend to abuse again and again!

After using my Delight the first time (because I’m an orgasm maniac) I tried a new G-spot enhancement gel with it the second time: the Discover G-spot Gel by Intimate Organics.  This is my first time using Intimate Organics products and I was very impressed.

IO gspotgel Delight G spot Vibrator

All of my favorite lubes are body-friendly, natural organic products such as Yes! and Good Clean Love.  Intimate Organics is my new favorite.  This G-spot gel worked fabulously to begin to stimulate my G-spot and seemed to give me an even more intense orgasm.  It contains all natural ingredients including a blend of peppermint oil, Fo-Ti, Schizandra Chinesis and L-Arginine, which together draws blood naturally to the g-spot, increasing sensitivity and enlarging the area, making it easier to find.  About five minutes after I applied it I felt a mild cooling sensation and increased arousal.  From there, my body took over with ultimate pleasure, so excuse me if I can’t quite remember all the details, except, Wow! intense and amazing squirting orgasm.  The Discover G-spot Gel also does not contain harmful parabens, menthol (different from peppermint oil), animal products or glycerine.  People who have problems with genitals herpes will want to avoid it however because of the L-Arginine (which really works to increase sensitivity, but can aggravate the herpes virus).

As an added bonus, the Discover G-spot Gel comes with a little pamphlet, for those who are still in G-spot discovery mode, which is very helpful if you have yet to locate your own.  I highly recommend the Discover G-spot Gel by Intimate Organics.  In fact, it is the best G-spot stimulating gel I have ever tried and will definitely use it from now for the ultimate in G-spot pleasure.

iconicpocket Iconic Pocket by Jimmyjane

For the past three weeks I’ve been on the search for the perfect rocket and have been reviewing Pocket Rocket-style vibrators.  No series of reviews on pocket pockets would be complete without including the Iconic Pocket by Jimmyjane which I have had the pleasure to test out.

First a bit of history about the Pocket Rockets and how the Iconic Pocket came to be.

“Pocket Vibrators were first produced in Japan over 25 years ago.  Their compact all-in-one design made them the most portable vibrators available at the time…  While Pocket Vibrators were designed to be compact, they were also engineered to be powerful.  The four hemispheres on the tip of the vibrator help intensify sensation by varying the contact pressure as they are moved across the body.”—From the Iconic Pocket package by Jimmyjane

Jimmyjane realized that the Pocket Rocket had become a sex toy icon, and like “the rabbit” and “vibrating ring” were “ubiquitous mainstays of popular culture”.  So they teamed up with Japanese company Vibratex, creators of the original Pocket Rocket and Rabbit Habit, to offer the curated Usual Suspects Iconic Vibrator Collection.  The Iconic Pocket is a part of that line.

So, is the Iconic Rocket just a knock-off of the original, or something more?  Well, it looks much like the original, but as with everything Jimmyjane does, they have improved upon that design and made it better than ever.

The Iconic Pocket is pure white and looks like it belongs in a minimalist art gallery sitting all by itself on a pristine white pillar.  Like their other sexy innovations, the Iconic meets their “stringent material quality and safety standards, and is backed by our one-year limited warranty – the first of its kind for these types of vibrators.”  It is waterproof, uses one AA battery and neatly packaged in a environmentally sustainable little cardboard box that is also perfect for storage.

Unlike the original Pocket Rocket, this vibe kicks ass.  Although it is not as quiet as Jimmyjane’s Form 6 [my review] it is an uber powerful little vibe. I don’t know how they did it, but the Iconic Pocket has more power than any of the other 1 speed rockets I have tested that take 1 AA battery.  It actually has the same power as the 3 speed Pocket Rocket Plus and Pocket Booster [my review] on their highest settings, each of which takes 2 AA batteries or more.  All this power in a minimalist compact package makes the Iconic Pocket one of the best pocket rocket-style vibrators on the market.  Am I surprised?  Not really.  Knowing the quality and attention to detail that goes into Jimmyjane’s designs, it was easy to guess that they would settle for nothing less than perfection.

But will it get you off?  You bet-cha!  Unless you have a clit of steel, this rocket will shoot you to the stars.

You can purchase the Iconic Pocket along with all the other Usual Suspects at WWW.JIMMYJANE.COM.

femblossom FemBlossom Review

As one might expect from the name, the FemBlossom by Emotional Bliss is a very unique sex toy by a very innovative, woman-owned company.  I had the opportunity to try the Womolia a few months back and I really enjoyed that product [my review] so I was excited about reviewing the FemBlossom because the new one heats up.

First of all, the FemBlossom has a unique petal shape that is ergonomically curved to fit against the labia and clitoris simultaneously.  The handle is comfortable to hold and the petal shape does snug nicely against the vulva.  My only problem with this is that it seems to be upside-down.  The tip of the massager (where the vibrations are strongest) hits my anus, rather than my clit if I am self-stimulating.  Trying to use it in reverse is very difficult, because then you lack the use of the handle.  You can use it separately for the vulva, and then use just the tip on the clitoris, but then the rest of the petal head is wasted on the mound.  So design-wise, I feel that this could be improved upon by having a handle with a swivel head on the massager, or somehow having the head reversed so the pointed end hits the clitoris better.

This vibrator is rechargeable (no batteries) and takes about 12 hours to charge.  It then lasts between 90-240 minutes depending on the speed of vibration.  It comes with an adapter for North America, as the toy is made in the UK.  I found the vibration very strong for a rechargeable toy; nearly as strong as a plug-in massager and I have to say I am very impressed with the power it has.  It features three buttons: (|) one to turn the toy off and on, then (+) and (–) escalate through the vibrations and function modes (9 settings).  It also features an LED light to let you know when it is charged or charging.

I was a bit skeptical about the heat feature, but it definitely delivers.  After a few minutes of use the massager head begins to slowly warm up and gets very warm (like a heating pad) but never too hot.  This is the best feature of this toy by far.  It feels amazingly sensual against the vulva and adds a whole new sensation to masturbation.  It also feels great on the shoulders, and the FemBlossom is curved to fit that area just right as well.  Emotional Bliss says that they are the only company on the market to develop “heat technology” for intimate massagers, and from the others that I’ve tested that claimed the same (Aphrodite [my review]) this is true, for nothing could compare to the real heat you get from these vibrators.

Aside for the design issues mentioned above, I do like this massager very much and will use it often when I want a sensual vulva massage with my masturbation session.

You can check out the FemBlossom and other innovative vibrator designs at Emotional Bliss.

pocket rocket booster Pocket Rocket Booster

My first vibrator was the Original Pocket Rocket and it taught me how to have my first clitoral orgasm on my own.  Since then, I’ve moved on to bigger, shiner, more expensive sex toys, but the Rocket will always have a place in my desk top drawer.  I have tried many other Rockets over the years, including the 3-speed Pocket Rocket Plus, which, up until I tried the Pocket Rocket Booster, was my go-to vibe in a pinch.

The Pocket Rocket Booster blasts the hell out of any other rocket I have tried.  It’s the rocket on Viagra.

Unlike all other Pocket Rockets, the Booster has two components: 1) The Rocket vibrator and 2) the booster controller which attaches to it with a plug-in cord.  You can use the vibe itself solo, which is convenient, but it becomes a whole other toy when attached to the booster.  It is like a mini Hitachi Magic Wand [my review] (and actually has more power per size than the Hitachi, if you were comparing it to like an ant vs. a human).  Really no comparison.  Seriously, if you like small clitoral vibes with the maximum amount of power and vibration a toy can give you, then the Pocket Rocket Booster is your toy.  It now has the superior position of being located in my top desk drawer (my masturbation drawer!).

Power: 10 Speeds from buzz to blast-off

Functions: 5 Variations of undulations and pulsations

You can purchase the Pocket Rocket Booster at VibeReview.

milkmaid02 Milkmaid Dildo by Studio Oooms 2.0

A few weeks ago I reviewed the Milkmaid Dildo by Studio Oooms [my review].  You can read more about the construction of the toy there.  In that review, however, I stated that I didn’t use the dildo because I considered it a “beautiful work of art”.  A few people though that was a lame excuse not to use a dildo, so here I am back to tell you that I took it off my collectibles shelf and did use it.

This is how it felt.

Like I suspected, the Milkmaid Dildo is perfect for temperature play.  It has a hollow body featuring a cork at the bottom so can be filled with hot water to warm.  I put it in the fridge for a few hours to make a cool treat for my hot pussy.  It’s been very hot and muggy lately, so the cooled off Milkmaid was exactly what my pussy craved.

The ceramic has a very similar feeling to that of glass, yet slightly (almost imperceptibly) different, which is impossible to articulate unless you’ve felt the difference yourself. The cool smoothness felt amazing inside me, each stroke like a long drink of cool water, yet solid and resistant.

It is a considerable dildo in length and a bit larger in girth than many.  So it really filled me up well, yet didn’t feel uncomfortable because of the smooth slick surface.  The girth was actually excellent to clench around, which would push it out, then I’d slide it back in, so my pussy was doing a lot of the work itself.  There is a slight curve at the tip of the dildo and it did work well for G-spot massage.  I used the dildo in unison with a clitoral vibe and experienced first a G-spot orgasm, then a few minutes later a clitoral and G-spot together.

So the Milkmaid Dildo is not only a “beautiful object d’art” but also a practical and wonderful feeling dildo as well.  If you love the feel of glass and ceramic dildos, the Milkmaid is sure to please.  And, once you are finished pleasuring yourself, you can put it up for display!

g rider Nexus G Rider

The G-Rider is a P (or G) spot toy made by Nexus, a brilliant sex toy company out of Britain.  They make a whole series of wickedly designed P-spot vibrating anal toys specifically for men.  And, it’s about time.  Next to the Aneros and Rude Boy, there isn’t much out there for excellent quality P-spot toys for guys.

I have found in my experience with P-spot toys, what is good for the Goose is usually also good for the Gander.  Meaning, P-spot toys for men are usually interchangeable as G-spot toys for women and visa-versa.  Not having a P-spot of my own I can’t tell you what it feels like there, but I can tell you how it works on the female G-spot.  But, first, a few details about the toy itself.

First of all, the G-Rider is shaped much like the Aneros toys, and has a hard core that keeps its shape.  However, unlike the Aneros which is constructed of hard plastic, the G-Rider is coated in the most sensual velvety silicone.  As soon as I pulled it out of its plastic box I wanted to rub it all over my body and holding it now I have the same urge.  It is very high quality silicone and smells so good you’ll want to eat it.  The texture reminds me of some exotic sci-fi creature’s sensual skin, and being bright pink, you could imagine that a strange hybrid penis of a mythical beast might look and feel like this.

The manufacturers have included clear instructions on how to use the toy as well as an illustration defining the parts of its design.  Shaped like an upside-down capital T, the toy features a handle at the bottom with a nubbed perineum stimulator on one side.  The main shaft is short and curved, with a rounded crooked finger that is the P-spot massager part.  On a woman, the finger acts as the G-spot massager and the perineum stimulator as the clitoral stimulator.  The base features the battery compartment and the control button, with 5 vibration settings.

For anal play, the instructions say to wash it (obviously) and suggest cleaning the anus with a douche beforehand.  To insert, use plenty of lube (water-based), relax and insert slowly.  Then you are free to turn on the vibe and ride the “waves” to orgasm, either by leaving it in place or rubbing it against the P-spot.

There are no instructions for vaginal (G-spot) penetration, so here are mine.  Empty bladder.  Apply your favorite water-based lube to the head of the crooked finger.  Insert.  Turn on and play.  The G-spot enjoys firm pressure and often drumming or rubbing, so do what feels best to you.  The way this toy is curved, the finger part feels exactly like the come-hither movement that is ideal for G-spot stimulation if you rock the toy just the right way.  It feels amazing and I have to say (despite being a toy designed for men) this is one of the best G-spot (for women) toys I have ever tried.  The curve is perfect for rubbing and once you feel the urge to squirt, for thrusting and drumming.  Also, the vibrations are fairly powerful and easily felt in this vibe.  Before, I have never really found vibration on my G-spot to make much difference, but here I really noticed it and know it aided in my stimulation and orgasm.

So, I rate this toy an A+ for G-spot stimulation, which just goes to prove that boy toys are fun for girls too.  I imagine this toy would also be stellar for guys as well.

You can find the Nexus G-Rider at TabuToys.com where they carry many different G-spot Vibrators.

milkmaid02 Milkmaid Dildo by Studio Oooms

I saw this lovely ceramic dildo a few months ago and just had to have one it is so beautiful.  It is the Milkmaid Dildo by Studio Oooms a design-centric studio in the Netherlands that creates unique objects d-art.  This dildo (the only one Oooms makes) was commissioned by the Dutch souvenir projects as tongue-and-cheek keepsake that a tourist might bring home with them as a memento.  It features the “innocent” image of a milkmaid inspired by Johannes Vermeer famous painting “Het Melkmeisje” (The Milkmaid).  This Delftblue (Delfware) ceramic dildo is meant to be more of a show/conversation piece for your mantel rather than for practical use.  It comes with a small disclaimer saying it “should be considered as art objects with no specific function”, i.e.: that is sexual.

The Milkmaid dildo is hollow and has a cork at the bottom plugging the end, much like an old-fashioned salt shaker.  I immediately wondered why it was built this way and thought perhaps the dildo was supposed to be filled with hot water to warm it up for use.  So, I tried this and the ceramic did warm up nicely and the cork prevented it from leaking.  I didn’t use it this way though, as I didn’t want to keep water in such a beautiful work of art for long.  The hollowed out length of the dildo is large enough to insert a very slim vibrator, so you could potentially turn this into a vibrating dildo.  I didn’t have anything slim enough to try this out, as my Pocket Rocket was even too thick and I worried about damaging it with hard vibrating plastic.  Although it is not meant to be used as a dildo (then again neither are any of the novelty sex toys you can buy), this has a substantial length of 8.7 inches and a 1.4 inch girth.  So it is quite formidable, were you tempted to use it for other erotic purposes.  It is also smooth as glass and so wonderfully cool to the touch.

However, it is meant to be an art display object and is really too beautiful for actual use, so I’ve placed mine in my dining room for now with my antique salt and pepper shakers collection.  Somehow, it didn’t quite fit with my other collectible sex toys: Hello Kitty vibe [my review] and my Obama Dildo.  It is really in a class all its own.  It is such a unique and lovely object and is obviously a “must have” collector’s item for those who enjoy unusual and erotic works of art for display.

You can purchase the Milkmaid Dildo from Studio Oooms for yourself or an admirer of erotic art.  This item is sure to make a statement!

swing Fantasy Sex Swing

Vibrators are fun and dildos are cool, but every once in a while it is exciting to review something completely different.  One of my pet peeves about sex toys, is that there is not a lot of toys you can use together with a partner during sex.  Well, the Fantasy Sex Swing is made exactly for that purpose.  While it may be fun to hop in there and swing around by yourself, it is a whole lot more spectacular to share it with a partner.

I had my doubts that this was going to be that a stellar product.  But this Sex Swing is very well made and super sturdy.  It has all the sexy metal hardware you need to screw it into your door or ceiling including a huge spring, and the harness is made of strong quality strap.  It is pretty easy to install, comes with instructions and takes about 20 minutes to set it up, and then you are ready for fun.

It features two padded straps for support, one to sit on, the other to lay back on and a set of padded stir-ups.  All you have to do is lay back and enjoy!  It is fairly comfortable and allows you to easily get into positions that your normally wouldn’t be able to without it.  The box shows you various positions you can try out if you are game.  I was surprised how strong the swing is and how much it could hold.  It actually held both my partner and myself with me on top, which is over 300 pounds.  It is a very simple, yet effective design.

And, yes you can have lots of fun with this swing.  Just sitting and swinging in it alone is fun, but having sex in it is a blast.  When I was at the Sex Show Convention in Montreal a few months back, these sex swings were selling like hot cakes.  I can totally see why.  They are much cheaper than most of the sex swings out there (approx $145), but just as effective.  I also have a leather sex sling, that I keep in my barn (I know kinky barn).  And, while you can lay right back in that, the Sex Swing allows you to try multiple positions and is actually much easier for both you and your partner to position yourselves for ease of access.

Want to fuck like a porn star?  Well, maybe not exactly, but you will be able to get into the challenging positions you’ve only dreamed of that offer deeper penetration possibilities.  Plus, the feeling of being weightless while having sex is amazing.  If this doesn’t spice up your sex life, then nothing will!

You can pick up this sex swing and other sex toys at Sextoy.com where they have the lowest prices online.

Bandito

 Bandito

So last week I reviewed two strapless strap-on dildos: the Share [my review] and the Feeldoe More [my review].  This week I’m taking a look at a harness-compatible strap-on dildo, the Bandito.  First of all, the name: Bandito is interesting. Def: “…an outlaw especially of Mexican extraction or origin…” Not sure where Fun Factory came up with this name, but I like to think of the Bandito as an outlaw and a bit of a rebel, in that it is unlike any other dildo I have ever owned, and yes I do own a few.  I can almost see him swaggering into a dusty old saloon and driving the saloon girls crazy.  [Insert the theme from "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" here].  But instead of a gun belt, he’s wearing a strap-on harness and is ready for love.

Like all Fun Factory sex toys, the Bandito is made of medical grade silicone and is beautifully designed both for function (very important) and for looks.  The Bandito is the sexiest cock I own, which, being a bit of a Fashionista is important to me.  But, most important is how it works and this cock delivers.

First, it has a perfect G-spot curve much like the Curve dildo [my review] and has elevated whorls that are not just stylish, but give added stimulation to the old in-and-out.  It also features a pronounced nubbin knob on the underside of the head that applies pressure to the G-spot on every out stroke.  This is a bit different feeling than any other dildo I have used and is definitely an effective design function, as my G-spot responded wonderfully to this little nub.  Although it is short (5.5 insertable inches) and of average girth (4.5 inches), this works well for G-spot stimulation, as a woman’s G-spot is only 1″-2″ inside the vagina wall.  I image it would be perfect for prostate massage as well.

The Bandito features a flared tri-sided base that allows it to fit comfortably into a harness to use as a strap-on.  I haven’t seen a whole lot of G-spot dildos that are harness compatible and function as well as this one does.  Many G-spot dildos are hand-held, so this is very cool.  I would love to have someone use it on me with a strap-on to see how it feels when someone else is controlling the thrust.  Any takers?

Overall, the Bandito may be the nicest dildo I own in all respects.  It is certainly the most versatile, even better than my Curve (that I am always raving about!) and is as good as the Curve for G-spot if not better.  The Bandito is a must have dildo.  It has it all, and is really the only dildo you ever need to own.  I love my new rebel cock and can’t wait to show him off.  Look out boys and girls, there’s a new cock in town, and he’s a lover not a fighter.  His name is Bandito.

Thank you to VibeReview for allowing me to review this sexcellent dildo!  Check them out for more great reviews and stellar sex toys.

marymermaid Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary

I want to start off by stating that I am not an advocate for dual-purpose vibrators.  I have tried several including the We-Vibe [my review], the Rabbit Habit, and the Snugglepuss [my review], all with similar disappointing results.  How I wanted to be like Miranda from Sex in the City and fall in love with my dual-action vibes, but alas, it was never meant to be.

However, I had very high hopes for Mary Mermaid for several reasons.  First, it is designed by Fun Factory, one of my favorite sex toy designers who also makes my beloved G-spot dildo the Curve [my review].  It features a beautiful sleek design that is whimsical, without dubbing down the toy to make it look like a kid’s toy.  Even a grown woman like me may have a secret fantasy for mermaids.  Rabbits-on the other hand-have never been very sexy to me.  The design of the tail was something that also got my attention, and I imagined those wide flippers licking deliciously against my clitoris and causing me to having crazy, awesome orgasms.

The reality it this:  Mary, Mary is quite contrary.  She is beautifully designed, but is more “art for art sake” than functional.  Her phallus-shaped body is fine for penetration, although becomes slimmer on the end, so not ideal for G-spot stimulation.  I prefer a larger, more bulbous head for my G-spot.  And, although she “twists and shakes” neither is sufficient enough to get me overly excited.  The real bummer, however, is Mary’s tail that promised me orgasms but did not deliver.  The tail should have been designed much longer and closer together, so it would snuggle the clitoris on both sides.  As it is, neither side reaches my clit without a struggle.  And, trying to keep the tail on your clit while pumping the dildo to and fro is an exercise in frustration.

Unfortunately, I’m back to using two toys again that do a great job together (one for G-spot and the other for clitoral) rather than a dual-action that does neither.  I’m afraid I will never be converted to a dual-action toy, although I am always so tempted to keep trying.  So, back in the ocean with you Mary Mermaid.  Let’s see if you will sink or swim.

Several years ago the first Nubby G came out (it was actually named the Crystal Jelly G-Spot, but then renamed and repackaged because phthalates in sex toys were becoming a growing concern).  I had one of those pretty clear jelly gassing-off beauties send to me by a sex shop for review and used it too, long before I knew the potential hazards of jelly toys.  I did notice that it smelt bad however, and that it was a bit slick and sticky and coated with what I assumed was lube.  This turned out to be chemical goo, but I had learned this much too late.  I was pretty naïve then when it came to sex toys, and this was only the third toy I had ever owned.

old nubbyg Babeland Nubby G

This is the old Nubby G.  It is a good thing the internet doesn’t have scratch and sniff

Then, in 2001, the German magazine, Stern, hired toxicologists to test the safety of certain sex toy materials. They were alarmed to find a high concentration of phthalates (100 times the acceptable European standard) in many of the sex toys they tested. I found out about this through another sex store that I was then reviewing for when they wrote about it on their Buyer Beware pages.  One of the products they pointed to which was at the time a big seller was the Nubby G.  I was alarmed myself after reading this, and found the offending dildo/vibe in a drawer where it had been stored for some time.  Luckily, I had only ever used it once or twice because the smell of it grossed me out.  I sent the toy to the landfill (but should have had a burning ceremony with it) and said good riddance.  I hadn’t thought about that toy for a long time, the one that introduced me to phthalates and jelly sex toys.

That was until Babeland came out with their own Babeland Nubby G, just recently.  Now, to clarify, the Babeland Nubby G is not made of jelly.  It is made of TPR Plastic or Thermoplastic Rubber.  TPR Plastic is a relatively new compound that is phthalate-free and non-toxic. Like silicone and other hard sex toys it is non-porous, yet light-weight, very soft, flexible and durable.

This is the Babeland Nubby G. See the difference?

So, I admit I was curious to try this new Nubby G that had the same shape as the old one that was such a best-seller, but made of safe materials.  Back when I had the first one, I wasn’t as aware of my G-spot as I am now, so never really knew how to use it to stimulate myself properly.  Today, while I am no G-spot expert, I can stimulate my G-spot to ejaculation with a good G-spot toy in a matter of minutes.

So what makes for a good or effective G-spot toy?  There are so many on the market it is hard to decide.  There are three design elements that I look for in a good G-spot toy, which I have learned through experience work for me and most people I know.  First is the G-spot curve.  A good G-spot toy will have a G-spot curve in which the tip of the toy curves from a C-shape to almost a right angle.  This angle allows the toy to better position itself to reach the G-spot once inserted into the vagina.  The G-spot is located on the front wall of the vagina, just behind the pelvic bone and near the bladder, so this curve is important for the toy to be able to stimulate the area easily.  Second is the firmness of material.  Hard materials like glass, metal, wood and firm silicone (or TPR) are perfect for applying pressure to the G-spot.  One of the things that the G-spot loves best it firm pressure.  Third, is not what the toy requires, but what it doesn’t require: length.  Because the G-spot is only 1-2 inches inside the vagina, a toy with a 3 inch end is quite long enough to stimulate the G-spot.  The last thing that is a nice addition, but not necessary, is vibration.

So how does the Babeland Nubby G measure up?  The first thing I noticed about it is that it didn’t smell like my old one.  In fact it looks, smells and feels just like silicone.  It has a great G-spot curve, is short and stubby, very firm, waterproof and also features fairly good vibration.  So, it is ideal for the G-spot.  It also has a nubby clitoral stimulator half way down the base that does manage to stimulate that area as well.  This is something that I often find many toys boast, but rarely accomplish.  For me, it worked great for dual stimulation, resulting in a quick squirting session that left me in tears.  (Some times G-spot orgasms can be a bit emotional and overwhelming.  Always in a good way though!)

Although the Babeland Nubby G might not replace the Curve [my review] as my favorite G-spot toy, it is a close second.  It is a wonderful little G-spot toy at a great price and is sure to make your G-spot smile!

ideal Natural Contours Ideal Massager

The Natural Contours Ideal massager will not only relieve sore muscles, but it will give you delicious killer orgasms.  The vibrations were crazy intense and I nearly jumped out of my seat when I came, again and again.  It massages the whole vulva, which translates into intense, multiple orgasms.  I even ejaculated which I seldom do with clitoral stimulation alone.  First I used the Ideal with the G-Plus Attachment.  It didn’t take me long to have a G-spot orgasm gush with this simple but effective little tool.  Right afterward, I did something that I usually am way to sensitive to do, that is masturbate again, but this time only the clitoris.  So, I pulled off the G-Plus Attachment and used the massager head on my vulva and clitoris.  I don’t think I would have been able to climax again, so quickly, had it not been for the power of this massager.  I had the most intense, wicked orgasm that I have ever had, the second time as my pussy was still quaking from my G-spot orgasm.  I could feel the clitoral orgasm stretching down right to my g-spot and back again.

Many believe that the G-spot is only an extension of the clitoral structure, the part of the clitoris that stretches down around the vulva and deep into the vagina.  I certainly believe they are attached and could actually feel it.  And, it doesn’t matter how many orgasms you have experienced, your orgasms can become bigger, better and more intense as you experiment with different toys, and types of masturbation techniques.  I also attribute the power of this orgasm to the fact that I am doing kegels much more often, which is producing more powerful orgasms every week.  Try the Natural Contours Energie [my review] or Luna Beads [my review] if you want to take your kegels to a whole new level.

The Natural Contours Ideal is lightweight, very powerful, ergonomically shaped for both right and left handed people, has two speeds, features a flexible, comfortable head perfect for massaging all your erogenous zones, is cordless and fully rechargeable.  It actually runs for a long time without recharging it and the charge doesn’t seem to lessen if you haven’t used it for even a week.  The head and G-Plus Massager Attachment are phthalate and latex-free, and the attachment fits most ball head massager like the Hitachi Magic Wand and the Miracle Massager [my review]. The Ideal is now my new favorite toy.  I actually freak-out this week when I couldn’t find it after coming back from my trip to Montreal.  Luckily, it was just hidden under the couch after my partner did a bit of “house cleaning”.
