The 28th annual Leather Pride Night Auction will take place on Saturday, June 18th, 2011. This year the festivities will be at Arena, 135 West 41 Street. Arena’s doors will open for LPN at 6:00 PM and the auction will run from 7 PM until 10:00 PM. Liquor, beer, wine and soft drinks will be provided at a cash bar. A sign language interpreter will be present and sign the announcements throughout the evening. This year, as every year, there will be a team of bootblacks to keep your boots and shoes looking sharp. Rope Share is back!

This hands-on workshop will cover basics of rope handling, safety, and simple ties, and delve into harnesses, hogties and other topics depending on interest. Class size is kept to a small circle for friendly experimentation bondage and personal attention.

ROPE SHARE is a bondage workshop that is structured to fit your skill levels and interests. There are two highly skilled rope instructors. The attendance will be limited to 12 students.

This is a lab-environment setting and we will practice on one another. Please be open to both tie and be tied for the sake of education. Please wear comfortable clothing as there is no nudity during the class.

BRING ROPE: 2 lengths of 25ft. rope; 1 length of 50ft. and a 10 ft. length; and safety scissors. Cotton, nylon, hemp, and jute are all fine.

Instructors’ Bios

TYUTUMI is a bondage enthusiast who has been teaching rope bondage since 2003. He received advanced training in Japanese-style bondage from Midori, and continues to study with her at every opportunity. A graduate of Midori’s Advanced Dojo, Tyutumi also studied with well-known rope artists at Shibaricon. He was a member of Gay Men SM Activists (GMSMA) for many years, serving on its Program Committee and presenting a number of GMSMA programs and workshops. He is a longtime member of the New York Bondage Club and Delta International. He has presented bondage demos and classes at The Eulenspiegel Society (TES), GMSMA, Mid-Atlantic Leather (MAL), The Museum of Sex, Rope Share and Delta. Tyutumi is the founder of the Rope Dojo of New York.

MASTER MIKE has been practicing Japanese rope bondage since 2006 and is a graduate of Tyutumi’s shibari class. His proficiency as a roper prompted an invitation to join Tyutumi’s monthly rope dojo, and he has been a valued instructor at Rope Share. He holds a certificate from Midori’s intensive Rope Bondage workshop. Master Mike completed the six-month GMSMA novices special interest group in 2006 and was an active member of GMSMA until 2009. About Megan Andelloux

Megan Andelloux is a nationally certified Sexuality Educator through A.A.S.E.C.T and a board certified Sexologist through A.C.S. She is the Founder and Director of the non-profit Center for Sexual Pleasure and Health, located in Pawtucket, RI.

Ms. Andelloux lectures internationally at colleges, universities, medical schools, and sexuality institutions on issues surrounding sexual politics, pleasure, sexual health, and erotic justice. To date, she has taught at over three dozen higher educational institutions, including medical schools and Ivy league universities such as Brown, Yale, and Harvard.

We are located in New York City, with a membership primarily in the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. However, we also have members along the East Coast, across the country and even in Europe!

LSM is a support and information group for all women 18 years of age or older, including transexual and intersexed women who live their daily lives as women and all female-born transgender people who feel they have a connection with and respect for the women’s community. And, who are interested in fantasy and role playing, bondage, discipline, S/M, fetishes, costumes, alternate gender identities and uninhibited sexual expression in a safe, sane, consensual and confidential way.
