I get asked a lot about how to get started in blogging, how to set up a blog, and publicizing a blog. Or maybe it’s just because I can’t keep my big trap shut and am always talking to bloggers and suggesting how they can improve their blog.

In 2007, I did a workshop on How To Be a Sex Blogger at Dark Odyssey’s Spring Fire.
Here are the Powerpoint slides for the talk. Because there is so much information, I also prepared a companion handout (Adobe PDF). It’s close to 40 pages, but it’s a got screen shots.
It was revised for Jefferson when he presented this topic at Floating World. Between the two of these, you should have plenty of ideas of how to set up and publicize your blog.

thank you for such a great post. I have been blogging on my site for sometime now, but didn’t really understand the intricacies or power of blogging. Sex blogging it seems is a world I obviously need to get familiar with ASAP, if I’m going to gain a readership.
