I have been waiting for this building for the past 4 years. I stayed at The Standard in L.A. years ago and wondered why wasn’t there one in New York City? I cheered when I heard that there was finally going to be one built. I delighted when I learned it was going to be built over the High Line. When I first saw the renderings, I may have gotten a little wet.

My first thought was, “I have to have sex in that building.”

I’ve realized that place has become something of a fetish for me. Some people like feet, some people like food, some people like corsets and stockings. I like having sex in architecturally significant buildings.
