ideal Natural Contours Ideal Massager

The Natural Contours Ideal massager will not only relieve sore muscles, but it will give you delicious killer orgasms.  The vibrations were crazy intense and I nearly jumped out of my seat when I came, again and again.  It massages the whole vulva, which translates into intense, multiple orgasms.  I even ejaculated which I seldom do with clitoral stimulation alone.  First I used the Ideal with the G-Plus Attachment.  It didn’t take me long to have a G-spot orgasm gush with this simple but effective little tool.  Right afterward, I did something that I usually am way to sensitive to do, that is masturbate again, but this time only the clitoris.  So, I pulled off the G-Plus Attachment and used the massager head on my vulva and clitoris.  I don’t think I would have been able to climax again, so quickly, had it not been for the power of this massager.  I had the most intense, wicked orgasm that I have ever had, the second time as my pussy was still quaking from my G-spot orgasm.  I could feel the clitoral orgasm stretching down right to my g-spot and back again.

Many believe that the G-spot is only an extension of the clitoral structure, the part of the clitoris that stretches down around the vulva and deep into the vagina.  I certainly believe they are attached and could actually feel it.  And, it doesn’t matter how many orgasms you have experienced, your orgasms can become bigger, better and more intense as you experiment with different toys, and types of masturbation techniques.  I also attribute the power of this orgasm to the fact that I am doing kegels much more often, which is producing more powerful orgasms every week.  Try the Natural Contours Energie [my review] or Luna Beads [my review] if you want to take your kegels to a whole new level.

The Natural Contours Ideal is lightweight, very powerful, ergonomically shaped for both right and left handed people, has two speeds, features a flexible, comfortable head perfect for massaging all your erogenous zones, is cordless and fully rechargeable.  It actually runs for a long time without recharging it and the charge doesn’t seem to lessen if you haven’t used it for even a week.  The head and G-Plus Massager Attachment are phthalate and latex-free, and the attachment fits most ball head massager like the Hitachi Magic Wand and the Miracle Massager [my review]. The Ideal is now my new favorite toy.  I actually freak-out this week when I couldn’t find it after coming back from my trip to Montreal.  Luckily, it was just hidden under the couch after my partner did a bit of “house cleaning”.

sexmagikspiritbook Sex, Magick and Spirit: Enlightenment through Ecstasy

“Sex is a potent method for directing and releasing magical energies.  The sexual act unites the polarities that exist within us to create a strong of energy which can be used to transform consciousness.”–from Sex, Magick and Spirit

Sex, Magick and Spirit by Bonnie L. Johnson and Peter L. Schuerman (Llewellyn Publications 1998) is a practical guide for those who want to explore the ancient mysteries of Sacred Sexuality.  Although it is an older book (1998) on tantra, it is not dated and the information is just as useful now as when I first got the book.  Of course, Tantra itself is an ancient practice, and Johnson and Schuerman’s book makes it accessible to modern-day readers.

Combining their knowledge and experience of Eastern Tantra and Western sex magic, Johnson and Schuerman offer easy to follow methods and techniques designed to explore the esoteric aspects of sexuality.  The book is written in a clear, precise language, including illustrations that demonstrate the various positions and exercises that make it even easier to understand.  It was created both for novice and experienced practitioners alike, with its simplicity and the wealth of information it offers the reader.  Anyone interested in exploring the sacred nature of sexuality will find this book a useful and inspiring resource.

“Sacred sex is a celebration of many things, but it is not merely celebratory. It is also a means of practicing magic, of transforming your consciousness in positive ways.”–from Sex, Magick and Spirit

Inside, the authors describe how to arouse the powers within in order to reach new levels of consciousness, how to heighten sensuality and intimacy between you and your partner “including hands-on techniques for experiencing union with one’s partner and with the Divine on all levels” and how to achieve personal transformation by harnessing the mystical powers of sex magick.

The book continues to delve deeper into the mysteries to describe the collective unconsciousness (Divine Consciousness) and the four main Palaeolithic and Neolithic Archetypes for Relationships, explaining how they relate directly with aspects of ourselves.  Many other topics include the seven energy centers (Chakras) and how to balance the energies and polarities within us, yoga exercises, massage, Kegel (or sex) exercises, breathing, meditation and visualization.   It candidly explains different aspects of sexuality and relationships like masturbation, prolonging arousal, breathing and orgasm, the energetics of sex, sexual ethics, oral and anal sex, tuning into your partner sexually, charging the energy centers, and the Sexuality Rituals such as Sacred Marriage and Sacred Prostitution.

“There were two primary types of sacred prostitution: one‑time prostitution, and long‑term devotion to the goddess. One‑time prostitution was an initiation rite for women, in which a girl, upon reaching puberty, would go to the temple of the goddess (Ishtar or one of her counterparts) and sit outside, waiting for a stranger to make an offering to the goddess and then to deflower her.”–from Sex, Magick and Spirit

Sex, Magic and Spirit is not only for those who practice Wicca, Yoga, Tantra or other Sacred Sexualities.  It is designed for those interested in experiencing greater intimacy, unity, balance, and metaphysical enlightenment with your partner and within yourself.

I personally found Sex, Magic and Spirit informative, well-written, enlightening and fascinating to read.  My partner and I enjoyed experimenting with the various techniques described in the book.  We both found the experience heightened our sensitivity to each others’ needs and brought greater awareness of our own.  I highly recommend this book for couples, individuals or pansexual groups who wish to delve deeper into their own sexual mysteries and awaken the God(dess) within.

An open letter to the Kink Community,

We recognize the greater significance that this weekend held within the Central Ohio Kink, and National Kink communities. With the coming together of our community, and the help of the NCSF, Winter Wickedness Was a HUGE success! We had over 400 people in the space, and the Host Hotel could not have been kinder.

We want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support for Winter Wickedness. It was beautiful to see this community working together to defend what we are all trying to create. WW, and scores of other kink, BDSM and Leather events, groups and gatherings are essential for sharing what it is that we do in a legal, safe, sane and consensual environment. It is imperative that we continue to think globally, and work to defend and promote Kink, Leather and BDSM gatherings and events in our local, state and national arenas.

The calls to the hotel, and the corporate office assisted in offsetting the smear campaign that a few fanatical right wing individuals had mounted, as they attempted to mobilize their grassroots efforts within their community. We recognize that their efforts were attempts to play on the fears of their constituents by the misinformation that they were spreading. In this day and age, it is truly unfortunate that there is still this intolerant mindset.

We in the Kink/Leather/BDSM lifestyle do what we do because we are seeking a greater connection, a more focused and honest power exchange, and a creative way of loving and caring for each other. There is no reason whatsoever that we need to be embarrassed or ashamed of what it is that we do. We are consensual adults, making choices about our personal sexual orientation and expression. This is a personal choice, and is not anyone else’s concern. We do not impose our beliefs or lifestyle on others, but openly share should we be asked.

Like the GLBT communities, we too adamantly refuse to be forced to hide because of the ideology of a few fanatics. We are law-abiding, tax-paying, citizens of our respective communities. We are first class citizens, who happen to enjoy a creative expression of our sexuality. And we are “coming out” to stay. Furthermore, we refuse to accept any treatment that is discriminatory, demeaning, or shaming.

AIS, our gatherings and events are extensions of friendship, love, and acceptance. We are simply trying to create a safe, fun, educational and consensual gateway for adults who are open-hearted, honest and desire another form of communication and sexual expression. What we have found is that many people are grateful for this avenue. They have come away from our events with a more open way of connection, a new discovery of their needs, wants and desires, and a renewed relationship with themselves, life and others.

Times are changing, and we hope for the better. This fact that Winter Wickedness was a huge success, despite adversity, within a traditionally conservative local community, gives us hope. We are continuing our search for bliss. We look forward to our future work in the community to educate and share the truth of what it is that we do.

Sincerely,
Barak & Sheba Owners

. . .I might be rushing to state this next point, and bear with me if I am because this is just a blog post ripped from the top of my fecund mind and not a fully researched article. I’m going to say it nonetheless: if you want to know what values a culture holds dear, you need to take a look at the way the culture looks at everyone from male to female, young to old, bottom to top, but if you want to see what makes the culture’s skin crawl with the inexorable creep of the horrorsloth, you need to look at the way the culture treats women’s bodies. I’m not suggesting that the way we look at male bodies, specifically aging male bodies, reveal nothing. Pictures, text about, advertisements involving male bodies with back hair, big guts, man-boobs, nasal tufts, bald heads and so on say a lot about how we think about aging and what fears we have about masculinity, but male bodies don’t serve quite the same cultural function that female bodies do. Men get a lot more latitude. Women don’t.

Long before the acronym BDSM was in use, long before people recognized that many of their fantasies and fascinations qualified them for a clinical diagnosis as a sadomasochist, pulp fiction offered all the erotic thrills of today’s BDSM fiction.

One could factually argue that the biggest difference between pulp readers of yore and BDSMers of today is that we abide by “safe, sane and consensual” while such concepts were unknown in pulp fiction, which often included violent, terminal (fatal) fantasies.

But, to my mind, the most fundamental difference between the BDSMers of the middle decades of the 20th century (from the ’30s to the ’80s, primarily) and contemporary BDSMers is that we have a word (acronym, actually) to describe ourselves, a word that doesn’t carry the connotation of evil or wrong.

header sexual freedom I want your posts: Feminist Carnival of Sexual Freedom & Autonomy

I’m hosting the next Feminist Carnival of Sexual Freedom and Autonomy on February 16th 2009.

This sex positive carnival highlights posts/articles promoting the sexual rights and freedom of women:

This theory of feminism is known more commonly as Sex Positive Feminism, a movement that developed in the 1980s in response to feminists against pornography and prostitution. Sex Positive Feminists (or sex-radical, pro-sex or sexually liberated feminists) believe that women’s sexual freedom is an essential part of women’s autonomy. Any legal or social control or regulation over the sexual self is an attempt to control and regulate women, undermines their freedom and infringes upon their human rights. We are interested in promoting sex workers’ rights, sex education in schools, and we encourage the free expression of sexualities.

Sex Positive Feminists recognise that not all women choose to work within the sex industry and some are grossly exploited, so it is crucial to understand that sex work must be done consensually. Otherwise, it represents another form of control. We understand too that the opposite of sex positive is not necessarily sex negative. For more information about Sex Positive Feminism, click here.

You can get an idea by seeing the current editions at Sugarbutch Chronicles. The Carnival homepage is here.

I will need your submission no later than Friday, February 15 2009.

If you’re interested in hosting a future edition of the Carnival, please contact C aroline at email: uncool [DOT] blog [AT] gmail [DOT] com.

I’m looking forward to your submissions!

Setting a human rights agenda for the United States will be an enormous challenge for Barack Obama and his incoming administration, with a host of failed Bush campaigns to contend with. His handling of so-called “sex slavery” will be but one. When considering how he ought to proceed, to undo damage done, and to improve human rights around the globe, Obama should look not to Kristof and his urgent cries, but to those women who are currently imprisoned and violated by the people who were supposed to “save” them. To endorse brutal, violent raids and “rehabilitation” as a solution to the brutality and violence of coerced prostitution ignores the evidence that raids do nothing to discourage abusive conditions — they perpetuate them.

by Tracy Quan, The Daily Beast

“I’ve seen it before,” says Linda, “during the tech bust in 2002. Women who thought they would always make a decent living in the tech sector lost their jobs.” They came looking to Linda’s industry for freelance work, and now it’s happening again: professional women whose cubicle-bound careers have been downsized are entering Linda’s corner of the “gig economy” — a corner that involves whips, ropes, and occasionally, nipple clamps.

With staff jobs evaporating and former nine-to-fivers cobbling together incomes through scattered side projects, freelancing as a dominatrix — or “pro-domme,” as industry types prefer to call it — has become a plausible gig option. As a former call girl, I know plenty of people in the industry, and I recently spoke to several who have started doing kink work to supplement their incomes. (I’ve changed their names to protect their privacy.) They agree: The sector is poised for expansion as more unemployed and underemployed women begin looking for extra cash.
