		<description>It makes sense that a significant chunk of folks in my "tech savvy" age group would choose a more expressive and, I imagine, thus a more mature way of ending a relationship. Many technologically-savvy youngsters are simultaneously learning more about how to handle themselves emotionally, which leads to more mature romantic interactions at a young age.

I found that more about emotional maturity and its connection with age can be garnered from a number of interesting books, most notably &lt;a href="http://www.amazon.com/Emotional-Intelligence-Matter-More-Than/dp/0553375067" rel="nofollow"&gt;Emotional Intelligence&lt;/a&gt; as well as the less scientific &lt;a href="http://www.amazon.com/Indigo-Children-Kids-Have-Arrived/dp/1561706086" rel="nofollow"&gt;The Indigo Children&lt;/a&gt;.
